Well, I've been keeping it a secret, just in case. But, now I am just bursting with excitement!!! Guess what??!!!???? I went to my forever home this weekend!!! I feel like the luckiest dog on the planet! When my foster mom took me to school (pit bull education), we would meet up with these super cool folks. Turns out, they were meeting me and getting to know me! They wanted to know if I would fit in with their special family. I met Dottie, an older short lady dog, and a young human boy. I love giving them both kisses. My foster mom told me to always be on my best behavior around them and thank goodness I listened!! It paid off!!! Now I get to stay with them and love them forever.
You may not hear from me as much anymore because now I am busy with the important responsibility of taking care of my new family. I have a new human brother, who is 2 years old. He is teaching me all about which toys are his, and which are mine. Sometimes he even shares his lunch with me by dropping little pieces on the ground. I feel like the luckiest pit bull on the planet! Yesterday I got a brand new collar, leash and new toys. Oh boy! Life is great! They started calling me Moto Moto, which is a huge compliment. Moto Moto is the character in the movie Madagascar 2. He is a big handsome hippo, a ladies man. I am honored to be named after him. :-)
Thank you all for following my blog! I promise to check in every now and then and let you know all about my new life. Boy do I feel lucky. It's been a whirlwind couple of months. I cannot believe the adventures I took. It was all worth it now that I have found my new family, my forever home.
Bye for now!

Maybe in my last life, I was a sea lion.
I really love laying all over my foster siblings. We all like to keep warm and share the bed. If there were more dogs in the house, I'd probably want to snuggle with them too. My foster dad calls me an overgrown lap dog. I don't understand the overgrown part. But I am for sure very happy resting my head in people's laps. They always scratch behind my ears when I do that. Maybe in my last life I was a sea lion. I seem to love basking in the sun and snuggling with my friends as much as they do!

My feet hurt, but I'm still HAPPY!
So, before I scored a spot in the best rescue group ever, I had a bit of a rough journey. All I remember is being picked up in this big van and at the time I was really sick. I stayed in a shelter where a really nice lady decided I needed a little help to get better and she pulled me out and sent me on my way to recovery. I am so thankful. I guess I had a slow thyroid or something like that. It made me want to sleep all the time. But, my foster mom gives me a little pill wrapped in cheese every morning that makes me feel a little more peppy. I feel soooo much better.
I seemed to have lost my boy parts somewhere (its the weirdest thing! One minute I was in a vet office and the next thing I know I'm waking up.... and they were missing!!!). But, its all good. I can finally get my mind off of marking my territory and also off of all the pretty ladies in town! Its much more relaxing. To all my fellow boy dogs out there who haven't gone through it yet, don't be afriad, trust me, you will finally be able to think straight.
The last little dilemma I am facing is my sore paws. I've heard the Doc say its yeast. I have no idea what yeast is, but I am ready for it to go away! Its all good though, I am still happy as a clam! My foster mom loves it when I smile. It makes her happy too, she told me so. Check out my happy photo above!

It's me, Huck!
Hi there! This is Huckleberry, taking over the key board! My foster mom hasn't written in a little while because she was busy teaching me the alphabet and also how to type. Its pretty exciting to be able to tell you all what its like to be me! In that bottom picture, I was really really happy. I got a new squishy, fluffy, snuggly dog bed AND a new kong AND my own squeaky toy! It was really awesome. The weather was sooooo nice this weekend and I got to go on walks, go to "pit bull education" class, and sunbathe a ton. As you can see, my foster siblings (Sydney and Toby) and I love to curl up together and bake in the sun. My foster mom calls us "sun gods" and sprays this really annoying sunscreen stuff all over us when we sunbathe. I like to roll around a rub my face all over the covers when she puts that stuff on me. It tickles!!!
Well, time to go eat my kibble! I promise to write soon!

Goofy man Huck.
Huck is such a ham. These photos really can tell you what a goofy, lovable, silly guy Huck really is. I swear all he wants is a comfy bed and and a belly scratch! What a good dog!
There are constant silly laughs around here, thanks to his goofy smile and irresistible charm.
Its nice to be around such happy dog. He even smiles when you pet his belly.
PRICELESS!
